Along with securing a place in the PTG Hall of Fame, he was awarded the PTG's "Golden Hammer Award," one of the profession's highest honors, for his contributions to the piano industry. He is the author of Under the Lid: The Art & Craft of the Concert Piano Technician. He resides in Seattle, Washington.
